Cora Voce (Chorus of Voices) is a Tacoma-based ensemble. Cora Voce offers the highest quality programs in a broad range of choral styles periods and languages, both sacred and secular. The choir rehearses just five times in the two weeks prior to each of our three annual concert series which requires a high level of skill from our singers.

Our mission is to inspire, enrich and educate through high-quality choral music. Over the past seven seasons, Cora Voce has supported eleven public school choral music programs in Kitsap and Pierce Counties with $70,000 in grants.

Past recipients include Vaughn, Sunnyslope, East Port Orchard, Discovery and Maplewood Elementary Schools; Aylen Junior, Gig Harbor, Bremerton, and Spanaway Lake High Schools. This year's recipients are Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup and Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor. Beside receiving a check, each school is invited to perform with Cora Voce on one of our concerts.

High school students of grantor choirs are offered an opportunity to sing as interns with Cora Voce for one series and to receive a small college scholarship. Our artistic director also volunteers his time to work with each choir at their schools throughout the school year.
